We welcome all returned volunteers, prospective volunteers, family and friends of the Peace Corps, and anyone who is interested in learning more about the impact of the Peace Corps in communities both abroad and here at home. The Expo will include a short formal program, in-depth break-out sessions with featuring panelists; a general "open house" with refreshments; and an exhibit area where representatives of the sponsoring groups and community -based organizations will share information about their programs.
Please pre-register for the Expo using the online form on the NPCA website.
Here are the venue details for the PC Expo:

There is no cost to attend the Expo, and free parking will be available. SPU is served by Metro bus routes #13 and #17. For details , see the Metro website.
Expo Volunteers Needed!!!!
SEAPAX needs your help to make the Expo a success. The day of the event we will need everyone's help to handle logistics including greeting guests, staffing the SEAPAX tables, assisting community groups with table set up, crowd control, and helping the organizers as needed. It promises to be a fun day, and a showcase for SEAPAX. We are expecting upwards of 300 people to attend.
To sign up as an Expo volunteers, please send an e-mail to pres@seapax.org with your name and phone number. We will be in touch with you before the event about your volunteer assignment. In addition, we are seeking folks who would like to share displays about their PC experience, such as slide shows, books and reports, and other media.
Regional Meeting for RPCV Group Leaders
SEAPAX will be the host for the quarterly Regional Meeting for RPCV Group Leaders on Saturday May 3. The meeting is for group officers and chairs (from both local and country of service) groups. Those interested in becoming leaders of SEAPAX are also invited to attend. As representatives from the NPCA will be in Seattle for the May 4 PC Expo, they will be at the Regional Meeting to offer information updates important to RPCV groups and to facilitate the discussion sessions.
The meeting will be held at:
Cowen Park Shelterhouse
5849 15th Ave. NE
Seattle, WA 98115
Registration is required for the meeting, and must be received by April 24. Please use the online form that can be found at the NPCA meeting website (see link below). Meeting agenda, and directions to the site are also included. Don't forget that May 3 is the Opening Day of boating season in Seattle, which means there will be traffic delays and detours in the area in and around the Montlake Bridge, so allow extra travel time to Cowen Park.
Objectives for the Group Leaders meeting are:
- To facilitate networking and improve communication within the greater Peace Corps community
- To build capacity for NPCA member groups to best achieve their mission
- To share information on key programs for maximized group engagement and impact
